Well, these days, out of curiosity, I intended to review the series of movements held by the CPC against the so-called "right-sided" authors in the 50s and 60s. The sources are mainly the "scar literature" written by the survivers. At once, however, I realize that it is such a waste of manpower to always look back and write about things that shouldn't happen at all. Instead, the better part of these writers should probably devote themselves to help translate the traditional Chinese virtues and culture to the next generation. I am sad that this didn't happen. The damage to these souls are unquantifiable. Most of them simply couldn't help getting bogged down in painful retrospection.

There were so many names flying around. I understand that at those abnormal years, no names could be firmly labelled as good or bad, except a few. However, it is almost impossible for a complete outsider not to be influenced by the numerous records against one single person. So this one person should probably deserve all the accusations? That's hard to tell.

What I want to say is however the following. Some complete outsiders nowadays are critizing, or indeed, attacking those survivors who never write a word on those crazy years. The accusation is, "acting silent is a crime". That's strange, right? It is really up to them. The purposes of these attacks are quite clear. By attacking these famous survivors, such outsiders could earn themselves a place in the business. That is damn hideous were it truly their purposes.

I believe, one who never wrote a single word against others in those years was truly admirable. Or, even if one did write something aginst his conscience, if it was of no signficance, it couldn't be very wrong, let alone those who never did that? What should be condemned, were those who lead the political movements.
